How do you think you could use RSS feeds at your library? How do you think patrons could use RSS feeds?
I am using RSS feeds on my hospital library intranet site. I am linking to topic specific RSS feeds under a News category - i.e. Internal Medicine, Nursing. I am hoping that patrons will choose to go to the library site to get the latest topic specific news.
I hope that there is a better way to do what I am already doing. It seems that a Feed Reader will simplify the process of linking to many RSS feeds. After completing the Week 1 exercise, I'm not sure if I can link a Feed Reader to my library intranet site to manage RSS feeds or if the Feed Readers are only designed to be used by one person. I would like to link one up in such a way that it would be freely available 24/7 to anyone with access to my library's site.
